History and Founding Story
Founders and creators, Josh and Ashley Shedden established the Creamery at Fairview Farm in August of 2022 with a dream of providing fresh, locally-made ice cream to their community and surrounding areas.
Although Fairview Farms has a rich history that spans over 75 years, it wasn’t until Josh and Ashley became the owners that they began to dream of what the farm and ranch could be. They soon introduced equine services and activities, then expanded to offer AirBnB properties and experiences on their ranch and then in 2022 made their dream of owning a creamery a reality. Josh is a 4th generation ice cream maker and dairy farmer and has only grown to love the industry more as he has become more involved in making sure their ice cream not only meets industry standards, but surpasses them.

Starting in Pennsylvania, we aim to provide more fresh dairy products and expand nationally, fostering partnerships with businesses that share our values of authenticity and community support.
